Annual SCBDA Fall Roundup

Each year we host our Annual SCBDA Fall Roundup to showcase innovations and advances in the beef & dairy industries of Shelby County. This year our Fall Roundup will be at Schafer Farms in Russia, Ohio.
Owned and operated by the Schafer Family, Schafer Farms has grown by adding new flex stalls, Smaxtec cow monitoring system, a new steer barn, and a unique heifer & calf facility. On top of all the new additions to the farm itself, they have also ventured into opening Schafer Farm Store. Come check out Schafer Farms at the Annual SCBDA Fall Roundup September 2nd at 5:00 PM! - September 2, 2025 - Fall Roundup
Together, the Shelby County Beef and Dairy Association annually:
- provides a trustworthy communication link between producers and a qualified information
resource for the community - conducts a "FALL ROUNDUP" to exchange ideas, tour a beef/dairy operation, learn from speakers,
discuss current topics in the industry, solve problems, and gather together for a ribeye meal. - meets monthly to plan and organize events which in turn: enhance the community and assist
youth through college scholarships, leadership opportunities, 501c3 guidance, sponsorship at
conferences and volunteerism. - promotes beef and dairy by offering our products and services at the Shelby County Fair,
local town festivals and special events. - offers our popular late winter Ribeye Banquet with an exceptional meal, informative speakers,
lots of door prizes and camaraderie. - supports one another and provide a positive focus on the importance of sound agricultural
practices and economic decisions in our industry.
